This is awesome! I think I can't watch the movie again. Since I know they changed the ending after a test screening, it's just too depressing. :/

Yes, I was shocked when I heard that. Apparently she stayed with Duckie at the prom and the test audience rebelled. o_O It is often mentioned as the most poignant example of the evil power of Hollywood test screenings.
