No. XD ha ha ha.

It's just that there were so many scenes where Winters and Nixon are looking at each other whistfully that my sister and I just cracked up, heckling the show. Sooooo we decided to see if we could cut the scenes and make it look as if they were having a torrid romance.

It's pretty damned convincing, hee hee hee. if you'd like to see it. Let me know and I will upload it when I get home. :)

I'm glad you did because this is to good not to be shared. I wrote a fic inspired by it, that's how good it was. I credited you in the header. It's my first effort so it's far from perfect but I rarely get excited enough to write and I have you two to be thank for it. Thank you.

We're having some recent technical difficulty with the videos. My sister's server kind of BLEW UP, so she's working on getting stuff back online. I need to bug her about that, so let me do so.

OH MY GOD

OK, deep breathing. I'm new to this community. Thank you first of all for uploading this hot piece of video art. Secondly, how brilliant to have made it accessible. So many of the old posts that I've combed through have vanished.
Now to the vid: The editing is amazing, it's so well paced to the music. The way you interlocked the two characters - originally often in completely different situations - works so well. It's also kind of flows and underplays the drama - which really only comes out to 'world was on fire' etc. - which I think is *so* right for the song and also the two characters. They are men men of the '40s. They could only have expressed themselves in kind of a coded body language.
